Tesla Western Steampunk Pistol by ajldesign Tesla Western Steampunk Pistol by ajldesign
This is the second non nerf style gun mod that I've done. I purchased the metal toy pistol that you see at the bottom of the image in the same lot with the wooden flintlock pistol I used in my Steampunk Raygun. For this mod I used scrap leather, a glass test tube, a vacuum tube, copper wire, paint and other findings. I hope you enjoy I had fun making it.

You can still use the gun's grip even with the decoration. Thanks for looking and I appreciate the comment.

This is such a cool and unique looking gun! The vial of green liquid on the top just tops it. I love your mods!

Idea: :lightbulb:
If you replace the green fluid with a dead glow stick, add an led behind it & wire it up to the triger with a button batery. You'll have a nice little light effect when you pull the triger.

Splendid work. I have a question about the copper behind the tube. I'm aiming to finish a weird science gun and I was wondering where you could find copper like that. It would be a great addition to my piece.

Thank you. The piece behind the tube is the base of a very small metal candle stick holder that I found in the collection of my father's odds and ends. I'm not sure where you would find one. Look forward to seeing your weird science gun.

Actually, I was talking about the coiling copper. Is it just wire or is it really curved copper rod?

Sorry. Yes its just copper wire from the craft store that I coiled.

I really like this pistol. I do. It has change a lot since it's original state. So much work went into it. However, I still like the Buzz Bee Double Shotgun better.
